Think about an important point you want to make to someone. Maybe you want to tell someone you love them. Perhaps you need to as

k your boss for time off. Or you want to get your neighbors to keep their dog from using your lawn as a restroom. Whatever the message, however light or serious the tone, use the poetry techniques from Lesson 1 to help you communicate it in the form of a poem. Use at least two examples of figurative language and at least two sound devices (you may choose rhyme as one of your sound devices). Bold print or highlight the figurative language and sound devices in your poem to point them out to the reader. This is a creative writing endeavor. Have some fun with it...... poetry techniques from lesson one include metaphor simile and personification and sound devices are alliteration assonance consonance and onomatopoeia

Music in the Digital Age
olga_2 [115]

The author's purpose in including the first paragraph of the selection is, to show the reader how music formats have changed over time.

Answer: Option B.

Explanation:

The passage ‘Music in the Digital Age’ by McCaul is an eye opening passage which describes very valuable information regarding music and music players. If we have a look at the first paragraph, we would notice that McCaul have illustrated the changes that occurred in music format over time.

The line ‘Things have changed since then. People can now carry tiny devices containing thousands of songs’ clearly states how the author is describing the ‘then and now’ of the music. The other paragraph on the other hand describes the disadvantages of MP3s.

That dose look good. I would take out from "...or based on facts". Art is mainly based off of opinion. I would say that "Art and what it has done has changes the world greatly."

Hopes this helps.

Which source would be most effective in answering the following research question: What is a modern feminist? Do you feel that t
Svetradugi [14.3K]

Answer: An interview with a self-described feminist

Explanation:

The source that'll be most effective in answering the research question depicted in the question will be "An interview with a self-described feminist"

Since the research question is about a modern feminist and feminism as a whole in all ramifications, the interview with the self described feminists will help answer the questions as the person will be able to give some vital information in feminism.

A biography of a farmer and a tour schedule for spice girls won't give the needed information as they aren't a good source for the research topic.
