Formal argument $5 or a lottery ticket. one paragraph
Pani-rosa [81]

Answer:

Explanation:

A lottery ticket is better than five dollars. You cannot buy much

with five dollars. For example, you can buy a hamburger for five dollars. A hamburger

may be nice for now, but you will be hungry again later. On the other hand, a lottery

ticket may be worth millions of dollars; enough to feed you for the rest of your life.

Argumentative writing claim about eating in class
V125BC [204]

Answer:

I believe that snacks should be allowed in class.

Often students have to rush home with little time to eat breakfast because of how early school is, and have to spend the time getting ready. Taking a shower, brushing teeth, hair, clothes, gathering school supplies, having to get to their bus stop on time, or the time they have to leave depending on how far away they live from the school.

From this, most students have little time to eat a full breakfast, and have to wait long hours until they are able to eat again depending on what time their lunch is. The hunger will decrease their work done, and overall productivity in classes. Students may feel sick, tired, get headaches, get shaky, get light headed, have a more fowl mood, and have lack of energy. These are all symptoms of being hungry that could easily be fixed by allowing snacks.

Food can cause distractions in the classroom as not everyone will bring food, or people will ask for some and will be distracted by the food. I propose that just like in elementary school, we have a set "snack time" in one or two of our classes where we can eat snacks for a short period of time to fuel up and bring back up our productivity. There can be regulations on what we bring, to weed out unhealthy things like chips, candy, sweets, and other things.

Allowing students to have snacks in school will not only help them with their productivity in school, but increase their mood, and allow them to have more time in the mornings to get ready for school instead of having to worry that they wont be able to eat any food till lunch.
