What does this problem equal?show your work.

-12(k+4)=60
HACTEHA [7]
Hey there!

First, divide both sides by 12
-12(k+4)/-12= 60/-12 and you would getk+4=5

Solve x<3 and x≥−1 and write the solution in interval notation. If there is no solution, type ∅ .
bearhunter [10]

Shown in the Figure below

Step-by-step explanation:

In this exercise, we have the following system of inequalities:

x

The word and means intersection, so both inequalities must be true at the same time. We can graph this system as indicated in the figure below. Indeed, there is intersection between -1 and 1. Also, the number -1 is included in the solution because x\geq -1 and this is represented by the closed circle. On the other hand, the number 3 is not included in the solution because x and this is represented by the open circle.

There are 32 students in Jenna's class. Jenna brought in 14 cupcakes. Which equation can be used to find the number of cupcakes
snow_lady [41]

Answer:

n = 32 - 14 (= 18)

Step-by-step explanation:

You haven't given the answer options, however I assume it will be written in this form. I.e. the number of cupcakes still needed is just the total number of students (32) minus the number that Jenna bought (14).

so n = 32 -14 (=18)
