A net is basically a flattened out 3D solid. If you fold all the sides up, you would end up with the 3D model.

What it means by net is an image of the 3d shape if you were to unfold it. Imagine what kind of shape you would get if you were to unfold a cardboard box, for example. Then, after you draw that, it wants you to transpose the measurements of the shape onto the net. I've included an image showing the net of a rectangle prism along with the labels the question asked.

I'm horrible at this please help:((((
wel

Step-by-step explanation:

You can insert different values of x to find y

For example:

x = 4

Plug in x into the equation

y = -1/2(4) + 5

y = -2 + 5

y = 3

So your point will be (4, 3)

If you do 1 more like this, you can draw a line between them. Or you can use Desmos to graph the line.

Hope this helped you!!

Which calculation can be used to find the value of q in the equation q3 = 64?
alexandr402 [8]
To isolate the variable q, divide both sides by 3:
q3 ÷ 3 = 64 ÷ 3
q = 21.33 or 21 1/3

If the q is cubed(I can't really tell), however, you would use the cube root:
³√q³ = ³√64
q = 4

Find the distance between the two points. Round your solution to 2 decimal points.
VashaNatasha [74]
Notice the grid, the points are (-5, -2) and (4, -1), thus

\bf ~~~~~~~~~~~~\textit{distance between 2 points}\\ \quad \\
\begin{array}{ccccccccc}
&&x_1&&y_1&&x_2&&y_2\\
% (a,b)
&&(~{{ 4}} &,&{{ -1}}~)
% (c,d)
&&(~{{ -5}} &,&{{ -2}}~)
\end{array}~~
% distance value
d = \sqrt{({{ x_2}}-{{ x_1}})^2 + ({{ y_2}}-{{ y_1}})^2}
\\\\\\
d=\sqrt{[-5-4]^2+[-2-(-1)]^2}\implies d=\sqrt{(-5-4)^2+(-2+1)^2}
\\\\\\
d=\sqrt{(-9)^2+(-1)^2}\implies d=\sqrt{81+1}\implies d=\sqrt{82}
