Geography

A contour line consists of points that are all at the same elevation, and each line has a different elevation. If two lines crossed, the point where they cross would be a point on both lines, so it would be a point that has two different elevations. That can't exist.

Describe the formation and significance of varves?
AVprozaik [17]

Answer:  Varves, the meatloaf of the Earth

Explanation: Do you know meatloaf? Well, we know that a meatloaf is basically a set of meat layers, one on top of another.

Varves are the same, but these are formed by layers of glaciar or mineral grains. All positioned, just as meat loaf, one on top of another: In sense of ascending seasons.

Varves are useful for GEOCHRONOLOGY, cause they can determinate the absolute age of some rocks of glaciar origins.

A depreciation of a country's currency makes its export goods cheaper for foreigners and domestic residents find that foreign imports are more expensive.
