To solve the question we proceed as follows;
time=distance/speed
distance between the monkeys is 2km=2000m
But the speed of sound= 330 m/s
Therefore the time taken for a howler monkey to get to the other will be:
time=2000/330
=6.1 seconds
The answer is 6.1 seconds
