6 * 2.5 = 15 That’s the area of the base

2.5 * 4 = 10
10 * 2 = 20
That’s the area of the 2 smaller sides

6 * 4 = 24
24 * 2 = 48
That’s the area of the 2 larger sides

Then you add all the dimensions together.

15+20+48 = 83.

So, the final equation is (6*2.5) + 2(2.5*4) + 2(6*4) = 83

Sue buys 5 pieces of fabric.Each piece is 1 7/10 yards long.What is the total length of the fabric she buys?One yard of the fabr
irina [24]

Answer:

The total length of fabric sue buys is 8.5 yards and total cost of the fabric is $42.5 .

Step-by-step explanation:

As given

Sue buys 5 pieces of fabric.

Each\ piece\ is\ 1 \frac{7}{10}\ yards\ long.

i.e

Each\ piece\ is\ \frac{17}{10}\ yards\ long.

Total\ length\ of\ fabric\ sue\ buys = \frac{5\times 17}{10}\ yards

Total\ length\ of\ fabric\ sue\ buys = \frac{85}{10}\ yards

In the decimal form

Total length of fabric sue buys = 8.5 yards

As given

One yard of the fabric costs $5

Total\ cost\ of\ fabric\ sue\ buys = 8.5\times 5

                                                            = $ 42.5

Therefore the total length of fabric sue buys is 8.5 yards and total cost of the fabric is $42.5 .

Plz help find slope urgent helpppppo plzzz
Darya [45]

Answer:

-7/3

Step-by-step explanation:

Use the equation y1-y=x1-x. In this case, I used the points (2,5) and (5,-2). Plug this into the equation to get -2-5/5-2. Simplify this to get -7/3. This means the slope is equal to -7/3.

What is the slope of the line that passes through the points (2, 3) and (8, 6)? 2/7 2 3/5 1/2
baherus [9]

Answer:

\frac{1}{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

THe slope of a straight line is given by the formula:

m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

Where

m is the slope

x_1 and y_1 are the first coordinate pair points [(2,3)]

x_2 and y_2 are the second coordinate pair point [(8,6)]

So, we know that:

x_1 = 2

x_2 = 8

y_1 = 3

y_2 = 6

Now we substitute and find the value of slope to be:

m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\\m=\frac{6-3}{8-2}\\m=\frac{3}{6}\\m=\frac{1}{2}
