Step-by-step explanation:

Hello there!

Let's plug these sides into the fomula for a rectangle:

V=L x W x H

V=5 x 1 x 1.5

V=7.5 in^3

Answer:

7.5inches^{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for calculating the volume of a rectangular prism is length x width x height.

To work this out you would multiply all the lengths together.

1) Multiply the lengths together

5*1*1.5=7.5inches^{3}

This is because you are calculating the area of one face and multiplying it by the height.

Help for both a and b
kipiarov [429]

Hi!

Remember that an x-intercept is a point in which the line touches the x-axis (the horizontal line). And, the y-intercept is a point in which the line touches the y-axis (the vertical/up and down line)

-----------------

For A)

The coordinate of the y-intercept is (0,1)

The coordinate of the x-intercept is (3,0)

For B)

The coordinate of the y-intercept is (0,0)

The coordinate of the x-intercept is (0,0) !

*both the x and y axis meet at the origin. So, a line that goes through the origin (0,0) is intersecting with BOTH the x and y-axis.

Hope I helped! Comment if you have any questions or concerns.

Question
mixer [17]

The intervals are given as follows:

 • In range notation: [-282, 20,320].
 • In set-builder notation: {x|x ∈ ℝ, -282 <= x <= 20,320}

What is the range of elements notation for interval?

The range of elements notation for interval is given by:

[a,b].

In which:

 • a is the smallest value.
 • b is the greatest value.

In this problem these values are given by:

a = -282, b = 20,320.

Hence the interval in range notation is given by:

[-282, 20,320].

How to write the interval in set-builder notation?

The same interval can be written as follows, using set-builder notation?

{x|x ∈ ℝ, a <= x <= b}

Hence, for the situation described in this problem, the set-builder notation for the values is:

{x|x ∈ ℝ, -282 <= x <= 20,320}
