What do you notice is the main difference between the structure of the connective tissues and the structure of the epithelium? m

ake sure to note the organization of cells in these two tissue types. explain how the structure of epithelium and the structure of connective tissue, specifically bone, relate to the function of the tissue. how does the distribution of tissues contribute to our appearance and to our identity? describe the role of fat in our cheeks and behind our eyes. think about the action of the muscles you have built on your maniken®. describe specific motions that you would not be able to complete if you damaged your temporalis, your orbicularis oculi or your orbicularis oris. how would this affect your ability to communicate? reflect on your own identity. what do you think helps make you, you?

The connective tissues and the epithelial tissue differ in their structure in the way their cells are organized. The cell of the epithelial tissue are organized in a closed-packed pattern, while the cells of connective tissue are organized in spread out pattern. Moreover, the connective tissues has blood vessels, but the epithelial tissue does not.

The epithelial tissues serve the purpose of protection. Protective layering is formed by the epithelial tissues in the body. The connective tissue such as bone provides support to the body. The blood vessel connectivity helps in the transfer of the newly formed blood cells.

The appearance of a person is determined by the tissues and other components. The skeletal determines the basic structure of the person. The epithelial tissues give more specificity to the figure of a person. The fats helps in determining the shape of the eyes and cheeks.

The fat in the cheeks is supposed to help the new born infants to suckle and chew. Moreover, it provides padding to the temporalis muscle while chewing. The fat behind the eyes helps in preventing damage to the eyes which may be caused if they rub with the bones of the skull.

It will be hard to open and close one's mouth if the temporalis muscle of a person is damaged. This will make forming words properly difficult. The damage to orbicularis oculi will make the blinking extremely difficult. The facial expressions will be distorted in such cases. The damage to the orbicularis oris will make the movement of the mouth difficult, which will cause poor articulation.

True-breeding flies with singed bristles (s) and normal wings (L) were crossed to true-breeding flies with normal bristles (S) a
mina [271]

Answer:

The correct answer is -

Possible F2 offspring genotypes and phenotypes:

SsLl: normal bristle, normal wing

Ssll: normal bristle, vestigial wing

ssLl: singed bristle, normal wing

ssll: singed bristle, vestigial wing

Explanation:

In this case, the genes 's' and 'L' and genes 'S' and 'l' are linked, they will be passed on to the gamete together.

The cross would be as follows:

F1:

Parents: singed bristles and normal wings   x    normal bristles and vestigial wings

Genotype:          ssLL                                                          SSll

Gametes:             sL                                                             Sl

F1:                      SsLl ( normal bristles and normal wings )

For F2,

Parents: normal bristles and normal wings    x   singed bristles and vestigial wings

Genotypes:            SsLl                                                         ssll

Gametes:                               SL, Sl, sL, sl

Cross:

          SL        Sl         sL        sl

sl       SsLl     Ssll       ssLl      ssll

Thus the possible offspring will have -

SsLl: normal bristle, normal wing

Ssll: normal bristle, vestigial wing

ssLl: singed bristle, normal wing

ssll: singed bristle, vestigial wing

Which of these statements best describes what happens during vegetative reproduction?
I am Lyosha [343]

Answer:

C. A new plant develops from a stem or root of its parent plant.

Explanation:

Plants reproduce from two ways i. e. Reproduction through seeds and reproduction through vegetative parts. In reproduction through seeds, new plants emerge from seeds when they are sown in the soil while in vegetative reproduction, new plant emerge from vegetative parts such as stem, leaves and roots. Vegetative reproduction is better because it saves time.

_______________ light is in wavelengths too short for humans to see.
chubhunter [2.5K]
UV.

The visible colors from shortest to longest wavelength are: violet, blue, green, yellow, orange, and red. Ultraviolet radiation has a shorter wavelength than the visible violet light. This energy with wavelengths too short to see is "bluer than blue". Infrared radiation has a longer wavelength than visible red light.
