using pathos how could you persuade him/ her to reconsider their decision,“the principle has cancelled the prom.”

I had this question on a paper a few weeks ago! How I explained mine was as if I was talking to the principal. I would be mad, and very disappointed. You could use the fact that prom is a MUST because it's an important highschool experience, and what most girls look forward to going to senior year. Its basically a graduation party for all their hard work and accomplishments. Hope this helps :)
