You can perform any valid operation on one side of an equation, as long as you perform the same operation on the other side as well. Use basic algebraic operations to isolate the square root term on one side of the fraction. Note that when writing square root terms in text, "sqrt" is sometimes used as an abbreviation for "square root." Here's an example: If you have 9 - sqrt(x) = 2[sqrt(x)], add sqrt(x) to both sides to get 9 = 3[sqrt(x)]. Divide both sides by 3 to eliminate the coefficient -- the number in front of the variable term -- and finish isolating the square root term, which gives you 9/3 = sqrt(x) or 3 = sqrt(x).
I hope this helps.(^_^)

Simply -3 3/4 divided by 2 1/2
Dima020 [189]

Answer:

=-1\frac{1}{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the following question:

-3\frac{3}{4} \div2\frac{1}{2}

In order to find the answer, we first convert the mixed numbers into improper fractions. Then we use KCF (Keep, Change, Flip) and solve.

-3\frac{3}{4} \div2\frac{1}{2}
-3\frac{3}{4} =12+3=-\frac{15}{4}
2\frac{1}{2}=2\times2=4+1=\frac{5}{2}
-\frac{15}{4} \div\frac{5}{2}
-\frac{15}{4} \times\frac{2}{5}
15\times2=30
4\times5=20
=-\frac{30}{20}
-\frac{30}{20} \div10=-\frac{3}{2}
-\frac{3}{2}=3\div2=-1\frac{1}{2}
=-1\frac{1}{2}

Hope this helps.

The second derivative form of xe3x
Galina-37 [17]

Answer:

If you meant the equation was xe^3x

then the first derivative would be 3xe^3x+e^3x using the product rule

Then to find the second derivative you'll have to use both the product rule and sum rule inorder to get the answer.

The 2nd derivative would therefore be 9xe^3x+6e^3x or in factored form

3e^3x(3x+2)
