I believe its organization too, purpose and details depend on the genre he/she chooses which is different every time. The organization of the story stays the same beginning, middle, end. Author has to organize it always, so that the reader understands.

What are examples of author's craft in The Illustrated Man?
mezya [45]

Bradbury has a straightforward writing style that seeks to evoke a sense of wonder through two seemingly opposed concerns: the careful construction of mundane details and a sharp eye for vividly capturing imaginative flights of fancy. Combined, they create Bradbury's signature style, finding wonder in everyday life by using fantastic / unrealistic elements to highlight the vagaries of human nature. Often, this means the stories are built on simply constructed sentences --declarative, often distanced from the subject it describes - with dramatically timed lapses into a more florid, poetic writing style when a character comes to grips with a new experience, such as the rocket flight of "The Rocket".

, identify a moment of irony from the Second Episode of Oedipus the King and explain why it's ironic.
Hoochie [10]
Irony is like sarcasm: you can say "oh yeah, that sounds SO fun" and mean "that doesn't sound fun at all"
Irony in a situation is when, for example, you do everything you can to prevent something from happening, but your trying to prevent it is what makes it happen.
It is also a literary technique, originally used in Greek tragedy, by which the full significance of a character's words or actions are clear to the audience or reader although unknown to the character.
