112   seats in 16 rows of 7 seats
so  if all    seats in a row are filled  that is 10   rows
but if some seats in a row are not filled then all  16   rows  can have someone sitting in them.   So anywhere from 6 to 0  empty    rows.

Now, to find how many people are not there, all you have to do is subtract the amount of seats and the people there.
112- 70= 42
Now since there are 7 seats per row and 42 is divisible by 7, you can divide 42 by 7.
42÷7= 6
So, 6 rows were empty.
