Correction, apologies, it isn't scalene. It is plausibly a ISOSCELES triangle because it states two of the sides are equal to 6 whilst one is equal to 3.

 There are three types of triangles.

1) Equilateral triangle: All the sides and angles are equal.

2) Isosceles triangle: Only two of the sides and angles are equal to one another.

3) Scalene triangle: No sides or angles are equal to each other.

Suppose your statistics instructor gave six examinations during the semester. You received the following grades (percent correct
zheka24 [161]

Answer:

15 samples

Step-by-step explanation:

The total sample space consists of 6 items

{79,64,84,82,92,77}

So,

n=6

The instructor has to randomly select 2 test scores out of 6.

So, r=6

The arrangement of scores selection doesn't matter so combinations will be used.

C(n,r)=\frac{n!}{r!(n-r)!} \\C(6,2)=\frac{6!}{2!(6-2)!}\\=\frac{6!}{2!*4!}\\=\frac{6*5*4!}{2!*4!} \\=\frac{30}{2}\\=15\ ways

Therefore, there are 15 different samples are possible without replacement ..

PLS HELP The width of Ben's rectangular family
marin [14]

Answer:

19 feet

Step-by-step explanation:

The perimeter is calculated by multiplying the sum of length and width by 2

width is 3 less than length so if we call the width x the length would be x + 3

2×(x + x + 3) = 4x + 6 and

4x + 6 = 70 subtract 6 from both sides

4x = 64 divide both sides by 4

x = 16

The length is x + 3 so the answer is 19 feet

Find the surface area of the prism. 6.5 feet, 6, 2.5 feet, 11 feet
maxonik [38]
First find the front and back
2(b * h/2)
2(2.5 * 6/2) = 2(7.5) = 15
Find the two middle
Rectangle = b * h
2(11 * 6.5) = 143
Find the bottom: b * h
2.5 * 11 = 27.5
Add all together
15 + 143 + 27.5 = 185.5 ft^2
