Answer:

Cultural assimilation

Explanation:

In sociology, the term cultural assimilation refers to the phenomenon by which a group (that is usually a minority group) gradually adopt patterns of behavior, ideas and values from another group (usually a majority group) and they end up resembling this group. In other words, the minority is absorbed into the dominant group and adopt gradually the dominant culture cultural patterns.

Therefore, a form of majority/dominant-minority/subordinate group interaction in which minorities gradually adopt the cultural patterns of the dominant majority is referred to as cultural assimilation.

Overall, did you think Consumerism was a positive or negative aspect of the 1920’s? Why?
Anuta_ua [19.1K]

Answer:

Could be argued both, but mostly negative

Explanation:

Imo, it pushed America into the Great Depression. Though some might argue that the Roaring 20's was due to consumerism, there's no denying that the thirst for wealth and the idea that a common man was capable of such, ultimately pushed the United States past its breaking point. Though in the long run, it serves for a great reminder, and it does benefit the economy greatly (through supply and demand).

However, if you were focusing solely on the '20s, then I'd say that it was positive because s*** hit the fan in the '30s, but people were vibing ultra hard in the twenties lolll

Lolita uses her kitchen knife to cut vegetables. She always uses her knife for either slicing bread or for chopping meat. Despit
kherson [118]

Answer:

functional fixedness

Explanation:

According to my research on studies conducted by various psychologists, I can say that based on the information provided within the question this shows that Lolita has overcome functional fixedness. This is a cognitive bias that limits an individual to using an object only in the way that the inventor intended for it to be used. Since Lolita uses the knife for non traditional uses we can she has overcome this.
