Answer:

B. They could not repay their loans or afford to buy basic necessities.

Explanation:

The Great Dust Bowl affected the Great Plains specifically, which most of the US farmers were located at (due to the large area of leveled plains). However, with over use of the land (which wore away the top soil), and the dry climate due to drought, the land slowly became dry, and the "dust" was able to be carried by the strong winds, hence the name "Dust Bowl". This spread the dust in large areas, and with the dry climates, made it hard for the farmers to farm, leading to their economic demise.

According to henry grady what would characterize the new south
kaheart [24]
Henry Grady is the managing editor of Atlanta Constitution; leading advocate of a "New South;" he also promoted industrial development with Atlanta as its center of growth. The original use of the term "New South" was an endeavor to label the growth of a South after the Civil War which would no longer be reliant on now-outlawed slave labor or primarily upon the raising of cotton, but rather a South which was also industrialized and part of a modern national economy. In other words, Henry Grady envisioned a south that would have a mixed economy as well as be industrialized rather than one based around single-crop plantations.

kenny6666 [7]
Jews during World War II took on a number of different roles during World War II in attempting to deal with the horrors of the Holocaust and the Nazis. Some Jews attempted to hide, others sought to flee and migrate to other countries, some took up arms and attempted to resist, and others attempt to change their identity not to be persecuted for being Jewish.
