2. The structure of a protein defines its function. If you disturb the structure of the protein, protein doesn't do its function. It is because of the reason that the catalytic (active) sites on proteins are disturbed and they don't allow binding. Thus, the metabolic reaction doesn't take place.

3. The proteins are formed through different arrangements and combinations of amino acids. We know that there are 20 amino acids generally and their different arrangements can make billions of proteins. Therefore, this argument is true that different kinds of proteins serve different functions.
