2) Practical application of ultraviolet rays:-

3.Ultraviolet rays are used to kill microbes.

4. Ultraviolet rays is used in dentistry, to cure,or harden, composite fillings.

3)Practical application of X-rays:-

1. Radiation therapy uses high-energy radiation to kill cancer cells by damaging their DNA.

2.X-ray's are an integral part of contemporary hospitals and medical centres. It is used for checking fractures(broken bones).

3. X-rays are used in computed tomography (CT) scans which combines X-rays with computer processing to create detailed pictures(scans) of cross sections of the body that are combined to form a three-dimensional X-ray ray image.

4.Mammography is a type of X-ray radiograph that is used to detect breast cancer.
