Answer = 121°

Parallelograms’ angles are all equal. So the two given are equal.

6x + 13 = 7x - 5
x = 18

Plug x back into one of the original angles

6(18) + 13 = 121

Now we know all the angles are 121°, so that’s the answer

Answer:
angle V = 60 degrees
angle U = 90 degrees
angle W = 30 degrees
This is the last option

Explanation:
Part a: getting angle U:
Let's start by doing the Pythagorean check:
hypotenuse = sqrt [(side1)^2 + (side2)^2]
side1 = 3√3 and side2 = 3 cm
Substitute in the above equation:
hypotenuse = sqrt [ (3√3)^2 + (3)^2]
hypotenuse = 6 cm
This proves that the given triangle is right-angled at U
Therefore:
measure angle U = 90 degree

Part b: getting angle V:
cos theta = adjacent / hypotenuse
theta is angle V
adjacent side = 3 cm
hypotenuse = 6 cm
Therefore:
cos V = 3/6 = 1/2
V = 60 degrees

Part c: getting angle W:
We can get this using two methods:
Method 1:
Angles of triangle = 180
180 = 90 + 60 + angle W
angle W = 180 - (90+60) = 30 degrees
Method 2:
cos theta = adjacent / hypotenuse
theta is W
adjacent = 3√3 cm
hypotenuse = 6 cm
Therefore:
cos W = 3√3 / 6 = √3 / 2
W = 30 degrees

Hope this helps :)

IM really struggling on these math problems can anyone help and help me how to show the WORK! PLEASE
Helen [10]

Answer:

For the first one it is 5x+2

Step-by-step explanation:

(9x+5) - (4x+3) = ?

First you minus the x's together so,

9x-4x which would equal 5x

then you minus the 5 and 3 together so,

5-3 which would equal 2

then you put the 5x and the 2 together and you get

5x+2 :-)

For the rest of the problems, use this as an example!
