Answer:

What impact did your Independent Reading selection have on you as a reader?

During my youth and I focused on reading books that can provide useful and trustful information about certain topics of my interest, for example during my youth I read "Go Ask Alice" by Beatrice Sparks and another important book was "Don Quixote" by Miguel de Cervantes . That kind of selection show me the path to become a true communicator and writer and understand what is happening around.

<u>Would you recommend your selection to a friend?</u>

Yes those mentioned books provides a good time of adventures and fun by "Don Quixote" and in "Go ask Alice" we have a young woman involved in an escalating situation of drug abuse.

Answer:

1. My independent Reading selection has impact in my life in the way I see the life and the world.

2. Yes, I would recommend it because they can teach a little bit about the meaning of life.

Explanation:

My pieces of evidence are two books written by argentinian writers. One of my favourite novels is called <em>"The ayes of the Siberian Dog" </em>which is a short novel written by Antonio Santa Ana. The story is about a little boy who has a brother who suffers from AIDS. In this novel the author wants to show the love among two brothers and the importance of not judging a person just for an disease. The second book is called <em>"The cowboy Martin Fierro" </em>which is a long story written by José Hernández. It is a story about an Argentinian cowboy which tells the independent, heroic and sacrificed character of the cowboy.

So I would recommend both books to a friend because I think they can be usuful and they can teach a little bit about life in the society.
