Answer:

Flammable and combustible liquids are liquids that can burn. They are classified, or grouped, as either flammable or combustible by their flashpoints. Generally speaking, flammable liquids will ignite (catch on fire) and burn easily at normal working temperatures. Combustible liquids have the ability to burn at temperatures that are usually above working temperatures.

There are several specific technical criteria and test methods for identifying flammable and combustible liquids. Under the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) 1988, flammable liquids have a flashpoint below 37.8°C (100°F). Combustible liquids have a flashpoint at or above 37.8°C (100°F) and below 93.3°C (200°F).

Flammable and combustible liquids are present in almost every workplace. Fuels and many common products like solvents, thinners, cleaners, adhesives, paints, waxes and polishes may be flammable or combustible liquids. Everyone who works with these liquids must be aware of their hazards and how to work safely with them.

The meaning of the word flammable means it can catch on fire or it is possible to catch on fire. As the context clue "be careful when lighting a match" indicates that since a match can create fire the flammable liquid can catch on fire or start a fire.

Hope this helps. ^^

I made it two sentences since that's what the question is asking. ^^

What type of punctuation is used to interrupt the normal flow of ideas in a sentence?
Komok [63]
The correct answer is parenthesis. A parenthesis normally appears in sentences when extra information unrelated to the main idea of the sentence is inserted. The trick in knowing if a phrase can be included in a parenthesis is when you take it out and the idea of the sentence is intact.

Explain how Achebe portrays the Igbo customs, cultural experience, and laws. Reference specific examples from the text.
dangina [55]

Chinua Achebe was a Nigerian novelist. He had a title of chieftain of Igbo tribe and wrote novels about its customs. That was portrayed as sophisticated, passed down through generations.

Westerners may mistaken them as ‘primitive and savage’. But Achebe showed Igbo people's rich cultural background through his narrations. Igbo proverbs, ‘the art of conversation", were frequently quoted in his novels.

The non-violent nature of Igbo was demonstrated by events like the peaceful agreement with the Mbaino tribe during a murder in Igbo by a Mbaino man.
