An example of a simile is the following:
"The tree was as thin as a hound dog."
As in the sentence above, a simile is a figure of speech which compares two different things, in order to make the description more intense or forceful. Another example could be:
"The man is as tall as a giraffe."
I feel it is a horrid thing and absolutely messed up. It should never ever have been used or addressed as something allowed to happen. Also it was very racist obviously. It shouldn't happen ever again.
Well.... Tybalt is Juliet's cousin. Although he is mischievous and a bit of a rogue, he is still well-loved by Juliet and the rest of her family (the entire Caulet clan).
Romeo is now a murderer (forcing him into a rapid departure), and a murderer of a member of Juliet's family to boot! If things weren't already against him in blood alone, this act would certainly sour any advancements he could have possibly made in asking Juliet's father for her had in marriage.
