That would be speech segmentation.
Speech segmentation is a term used for both human and machine learning as it refers to the identifying the boundaries in language. That means the used can now identify the boundaries that exists between either phonemes, words or syllables.  This perfectly illustrated in this example with Carlos as he correctly recognizes the phrase "American pie".

Human eye colors are found on a spectrum that ranges from completely pigmented (dark brown eyes) to a complete lack of pigment (
Harlamova29_29 [7]

Answer:

A. polygenic inheritance

Explanation:

The type of non-Mendelian inheritance exemplified in human eye color is polygenic inheritance.  In polygenic inheritance, a single trait is determined by the additive effect of more than one gene. Several gene combine together to determine a trait. Such traits are not definite, they are usually within a range spectrum, examples are height, hair color and eye color.  Eye color is reported by researchers to be controlled by up to 10 genes

On the contrary monogenic inheritance are responsible for traits which are controlled by a single gene such as the ability to roll the tongue

In general, according to the textbook, is "americanization" a positive and desirable experience for immigrant adolescents?
Marizza181 [45]

In my opinion, Americanization can be both good and bad for young adolescents. It can help them become independent but it can also cause major issue with culture. The US had been the home of many cultures. There is a possibility that many of these adolescents might forget their cultural traditions and practices because they are more used to being American.
