Depression is a disorder which effects that way you feel and think.

Depression makes you feel sad, and you might have lost intrest in everything you once loved to do.

Depression can be caused from stressful events, being yelled at, etc.

Here are some symptons of depression:

- Lost of intrest

- Sadness

- Sleep problems

- Thoughs of death

- Feeling worthless

- Feeling guilty

- Having a hard time thinking, concertrating, and even answerinng questions.

The experiment consisted of giving some players water and some sports drink. Then the players were asked to watch a basketball game on TV for 30 minutes. Then they were asked to perform some physical tasks. The efficiency of the players were then observed.

In this case the dependent variable is the energy of the players and the independent variable is the drink they had, either water or sports drink.
