2 will replace each x on the right
3•(2^3) - 4•(2^2) + 2 -1
3•8 - 4•4 + 1
24 - 16 + 1
8+1
9
The answer is 36, correct me if im wrong.
Your f(x)=sqrt[x+8]/(x+4)(x-6) is MUCH clearer, but not 100% clear. I will assume that your denominator here is the product of (x+4) and (x-6):
√x+8)
f(x) = ------------------
(x+4)(x-6)
We cannot divide by zero. Thus, x cannot be -4 and cannot be 6.
Thus, the domain is:
(-infinity, -4) or (-4, 6) or (6, infinity).
X=5
Do you need an explanation or is the answer enough?
4 thousands = 4000
7 hundreds = 700
16 tens = 160
9 ones = 9
Then you add them all together:
4000 + 700 + 160 + 9
Your answer is 4869.
