Answer:

The most important reason is that the Communism meant the division of land, which until then was totally in the hands of rich Russian landowners.

Explanation:

Most people in Russia, especially peasants were poor. They had no belongings and had to work on the farms of Russian landowners. Communism offer them distribution of land and end of war, during which Russia suffered the most. That is why many people accepted to join the Red Army.

Patrick Henry was one of the freedom fighters and co-founders of America. When the British passed the Stamp Act in 1765, he passed a number of resolutions in the Virginia legislature which opposed the act. He declared that  the Americans should be taxed only by their own representatives and thus people should pay no taxes unless passed by the colonist legislature. There began protests everywhere against the act which later forced the British to repeal the same.

Maybe its because they fear what technology can do to the world. Maybe loosing their job to a machine or worried that a "certain idea would spread over the world and it would have a negative impact on that person and others." Or maybe it's because certain Americans don't believe in innovation or technology and they feared a progression in it. All depends on the American.
