Answer:

There is  enough evidence to support the attorney’s claim

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that one  attorney claims that more than 25% of all the lawyers in Boston advertise for their business.

Sample size n =200

Sample proportion = 63/200=0.315

Hypotheses:

H_0: p=0.25\\H_a: p>0.25

(right tailed testat 5% significance level)

Assuming H0 to be true, std error of p = \sqrt{0.25*0.75/200 \\=0.0306

Test statistic z = p diff/std error

= \frac{0.315-0.25}{0.0306} \\=2.12

p value for one tailed =0.0170

Since p <0.05 we reject null hypothesis

There is  enough evidence to support the attorney’s claim

f(x) = (3/4)ˣ - 4

As x gets really negative (3/4)ˣ grows positively without bound (because it's (4/3)⁻ˣ and 4/3 > 1).

As x gets really positive (3/4)ˣ tends to zero but never quite gets there.

So (3/4)ˣ > 0 for all x

So f(x) > 0 - 4 for all x

Find the area of each figure. Use 3.14
grigory [225]
<h3>Answer:  23.13 square meters</h3>

===============================================================

Explanation:

The top and bottom semicircles can be joined to form a full circle. The same can be said about the left and right semicircles. Each circle has diameter 3 and radius 1.5

The area of one circle is

A = pi*r^2

A = 3.14*(1.5)^2

A = 7.065

So two circles doubles to 2*7.065 = 14.13 square meters in area.

Then the last step is to add on the area of the 3 by 3 square (area 3*3 = 9) to get 14.13+9 = 23.13

This area is approximate because pi = 3.14 is approximate. Use more decimal digits in pi to get a more accurate area. However, your teacher wants you to use this specific value so it's best to stick with 23.13
