The chemicals in the water break down the rocks, so water breaking rocks is an example of chemical weathering :)
Also, acids are a form of chemical weathering, as the chemicals dissolve the limestone :) Hope this helped!!
The wind does not contain chemicals, nor is there a chemical process in the plant roots splitting the rocks.

Answer: Water Breaking Rocks

Explanation:  Chemical weathering is the process of changing the rock's chemicals and transforming the rock's internal structure I.e interaction with the various minerals to create adjustments.

Further Explanation:

Certain processes like the dissolution and carbonation, hydration and the hydrolysis and the process of oxidation create the resultant charges on the rocks. Thus the water as natural resource breaks the rocks internally and weakens the trough the cracks and crevices and causes the temperature changes during the night and day time.

And thus causes the dissolution's minerals as in the case of rainfall as air has atmospheric carbon and pH content.

As the water reacts with the content of the rocks and through the process of oxidization the running water similar to water has got force and momentum it can easily displace large quantities of rocks.

The repeated action of freezing and the thawing of the rocks as an effect the common minerals that form the rock-like iron and various oxides of chemicals get mixed and the rocks get degraded faster. Chemical weathering occurs faster in hot and wet places. Like those of the sandstone and the limestone rocks get easily corrode by the running water and thus forms various unique features.

Water thus has the erodability and completely alters the formation of rocks on earth.  Various cliffs and hanging valleys of glaciers are formed by the impacts of the water's diverse form of agent that acts on the surface of the earth.

Thus the hardness, durability, and texture of the rocks all depend on the intensity of the water that reacts with the surface of the rock. Sedimentary rocks are most affected by the presence of the water mass.

DIA [1.3K]

Answer:

self-serving bias

Explanation:

The scenario being described is an example of a self-serving bias. This is mainly when someone blames other people or factors for the bad things that have happened to them. In this scenario, the girls are blaming the umpire as the reason that they lost the match, but in reality the girls most likely lost the match because they did not play as good as the oppossing team. For the team it is much easier to blame the umpire instead of accepting that the reason for losing was due to their own lack of practice.
