Answer:

The answer to the question: According to President Kennefy in his inaugural address, what is America´s role registering human rights?, would be, he says that Americans, having lived through such hardships and survived them, and having been built on such strong bases, as the defense of basic human rights, are also called to ensure that these same principles, especially the defense of life, and the fight against inequality and poverty, will be carried out around the world. He also says that it is America´s duty to surpass conflict and ensure peaceful international relations.

Explanation:

President John F. Kennedy, in his inaugural address as the 35th President, speaks to the people on the day of his inauguration, to first and foremost remember where they come from, who they are and the bases on which America has been grounded. He also reminds people of the terrors of war, the fear and instabilty, and the injustice of poverty and the violation of the human rights. Therefore, he then calls also to them to place those memories and exert their power in order to bring these good things that have made America strong, out into the world, to help ensure that the world at large also enjoys the protection of rights, the freedom, and the benefits, that America enjoys now. He also calls America to become the protector of human rights and the ensurer of peace in the world.

How has my experience shaped my view of individualism?
Fantom [35]
The individual identifies primarily with self, with the needs of the individual being satisfied before those of the group. Looking after and taking care of oneself, being self-sufficient, guarantees the well-being of the group. Independence and self-reliance are greatly stressed and valued.

Individualism allows you to have your own personal opinion and to share these with your environment, and to hear other opinions. This allows you see everything from different perspectives and maybe you could realize that what you thought was wrong, or show a group another view on matters.

In collectivism your opinion gets somewhat swallowed by the group, and often your opinions in a straight line with the groups’. I don’t see how this could be in a slightest bit interesting. I love debating matters, even controversial things, and see everything from all different perspectives. And the fact that I shouldn’t be afraid to do so is a true blessing, as I live in a highly individual country, namely Belgium.

Now, I do realize that collectivism has a lot of good sides as well, as I do realize that Belgians, being oh so individual, tend to care about themselves and their close friends and family only. There is no group-spirit, or just a little bit anyway. We tend to think that stating our own personal opinion is a right and do not give any importance to belonging to a group. And this is highly remarkable.
