Help please solve for x.
Sedbober [7]

Answer:

x=\frac{60}{7}\ units  or  x=8\frac{4}{7}\ units

Step-by-step explanation:

<u><em>The correct question is</em></u>

The two rectangles show are similar. Find the value of x

we know that

If two figures are similar, then the ratio of its corresponding sides is proportional and its corresponding angles are congruent

In this problem

\frac{20}{14}=\frac{x}{6}

solve for x

x=\frac{20}{14}(6)

x=\frac{120}{14}\ units

simplify

x=\frac{60}{7}\ units

convert to mixed number

x=\frac{60}{7}\ units=\frac{56}{7}+\frac{4}{7}=8\frac{4}{7}\ units

\large\mathfrak{{\pmb{\underline{\red{Step-by-step\:explanation}}{\red{:}}}}}

(4 + 6v + 3 {v}^{3} ) - (5v + 8 {v}^{4}  - 1)

➼\: 4 + 6v + 3 {v}^{3}  - 5v  -  8 {v}^{4}  + 1

Combining like terms, we have
