Answer:

The correct response from the options provided is superdelegates.

Explanation:

There were a number of controversies at the 2016 Democratic National Convention.  One involved the superdelegates and the other the Convention Chair.  There were leaked emails about the Democratic Convention Commitee that showed evidence that  the staffers favored Clinton. This led to the withdrawl of chairperson Debbie Wasserman Schultz who was not allowed to speak at the convention. Sanders was also critical of the superdelegate system and pressed for reform.  The conpromise that was reached was that two-thirds of superdelegates would be bound to the results of state primaries and caucuses. Only one third comprised current national democratic representatives and governors would be allowed to support the candidates of their choice at the convention.  Up until and including the convention in 2016, the superdelegates were not obliged to vote the same way as their state's primary election or caucus.

Trace the impact of World War I on the Prohibition movement. Arrange the events in
mr Goodwill [35]

Answer:

United States enters World War I.

Congress ratifies the Eighteenth Amendment.

World War I ends.

General public begins to oppose the Eighteenth Amendment.

Explanation:

A feature of the sobriety movement was the presence of powerful support groups - both among Republicans and among Democrats. The social group actively opposing restrictions was American Germans. Firstly, this was due to national traditions, and secondly, due to the fact that the German diaspora concentrated in its hands a significant part of the market for the production and sale of alcohol. However, due to the aggravation of relations between the USA and Germany and the entry of the States into the First World War in 1917, the influence of Germans in American society was minimized. In turn, in the factions of the Republican and Democratic parties in Congress at this time, the majority was represented by proponents of sobriety.

On December 17, 1917, Congress voted to introduce the 18th Amendment to the US Constitution prohibiting the production, transportation, and sale of alcohol in the country. By January 1919, 36 of the 48 US states had ratified the amendment, which allowed it to be enforced.

However, US President Woodrow Wilson, who called the idea absurd, based on public opinion, criticized the prohibitions. He tried to veto the law legalizing the amendment, but his veto was overcome.

The abolition of the Prohibition was in line with the Roosevelt’s New Deal, carried out in order to overcome the economic collapse.

Which principle was most fundamental to the authors of the United States Constitution?
ruslelena [56]
It's 3. After fighting in the revolutionary war, most of the founding fathers agreed that they wanted to step as far away from a strong ventral government since that's what they tried to escape in the first place. this then leads up to the 2nd continental congress being so weak, they can only advise the completely sovereign states from making bad decisions. otherwise known as the articles of confederation for when it gave full state power to basically act as if they were they're own nation.
