Hello there!

6q + 9 ≤ 9

Start by subtracting 9 from both sides

6q + 9 - 9 ≤ 9 - 9

6q ≤ 0

Then divide both sides by 6

6q/6 ≤ 0/6

q ≤ 0

--------------

The second equation
6q + 9 ≥ -9

Start by subtracting 9 from both sides

6q + 9 - 9 ≥ -9 - 9

6q ≥ -18

Divide both sides by 6

6q/6 ≥ -18/6

q ≥ -3

Good luck with your studies!

If you combine both of these inequalities, you will get
-9 ≤ 6q + 9 ≤ 9

You can further simplify this be using the absolute value.
If you use the absolute value, you will get
| 6q + 9 | ≤ 9

If you're trying to solve for q, use
-9 ≤ 6q + 9 ≤ 9
Subtract all parts by 9
- 18 ≤ 6q ≤ 0
Divide all parts by 6
- 3 ≤ q ≤ 0

Have an awesome day! :)

What is the equation of the line that passes through (4,3) and (2, -1)?
jeka94

Answer:

y = 2x - 5

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1: Find slope m

m = (-1 - 3)/(2 - 4)

m = -4/-2

m = 2

y = 2x + b

Step 2: Find b

-1 = 2(2) + b

-1 = 4 + b

b = -5

Step 3: Rewrite equation

y = 2x - 5

Fynjy0 [20]

Answer:

0.834 hours

Given that,

A Galapagos tortoise can walk 1/5 mile in an hour.

We need to find time would it take the tortoise to walk 1/6 mile.

1/5 mile = 1 hour

1 mile = 1/1/5 = 5 hours

For 1/6 mile = 1/6 *5 = 0.834 hours

It will take 0.834 hours to walk 1/6 mile.
