Why did the Federalists have more support than the Antifederalists?
Sliva [168]
If I remember correctly, thought it's been a while since I've had US History it's C. Because the anti federalist wanted the bill or rights added and both parties didn't pay attention to the alliances.

4. What is the similarity between Dixiecrats

and the Civil Rights Act of 1957?
timofeeve [1]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Although there are no options attached we can say the following.

The similarity between Dixiecrats and the Civil Rights Act of 1957 was that the Dixicrats severely opposed the Civil Rights legislation proposed by President Dwight Eisenhower and Democrats in Congress weakened the act.

The Disxicrats from the South always opposed giving rights to African Americans and wanted to maintain the Jim Crow laws and black codes that started after teh Reconstruction period in the southern states.

The Civil Rights Act of 1957 included the creation of a Civil Rights Commission that had the power to investigate racial segregation practices. But as I said above, Democrats in Congress questioned and weakened the final act.

Masja [62]

Answer:

Choice C

Explanation:

The other three choices would be related most to a primary document- from the viewpoint of someone who was present or witnessed the event itself. Secondary choices (like a textbook on WWII) present the viewpoints of someone who has studies primary sources to reach a set of conclusions.
