Technically only 1...

If you have to use 4 rows there is only one option;
1 1 1 2
1 1 2 1
1 2 1 1
2 1 1 1

Each number represents the total kids in a row.
1st number is row 1 second number is row 2 etc.

If you can use 2 or 3 rows there are some more answers.

If f(x) =2x^2-8, what is f(2y)
Vlad [161]

The answer is f(2y) = 8y^2 - 8

In order to find this, we need to put 2y in where x was in the original equation. From there, we follow the order of operations to simplify.

f(x) = 2x^2 - 8

f(2y) = 2(2y)^2 - 8

f(2y) = 2(4y^2) - 8

f(2y) = 8y^2 - 8

NEED HELLP ASAP !!!
ss7ja [257]

Answer:

m<x = 48

m<y = 132

Step-by-step explanation:

Since x and y are supplementary angles, that means their sum is 180 degrees.

And we are given that y is 12 less than 3 times the measure of x.  With this information we can make a system of linear equations.

x + y = 180

y = 3x - 12

So now plug in the value of y into the first equation.

x + y = 180

x + (3x - 12) = 180

x + 3x = 192

4x = 192

x = 48

And then plug this computed value of x back into the first equation to find the measure of y.

x + y = 180

48 + y = 180

y = 180 - 48

y = 132

So the measures of the angles are as follows:

m<x = 48

m<y = 132

Cheers.

The perimeter of rectangle is 48ft the length is 16 from. Whats is the area?
solniwko [45]

Answer:

128

Step-by-step explanation:

There are 2 lengths, 16 x 2 = 32. 48 - 32 = 16. 16 divded by 2 equals 8. 8 x 16 = 128.

A store sells mugs. Each mug costs the same amount. During a sale, the store reduces the price of each mug by $1.75. Wen spends
Sergio039 [100]
I’m assuming the question is what is the price of one mug WITHOUT the sale.

So since the price of 5 mugs is $28.20, we can work out the price of one mug with the sale.

We do this by doing:

$28.20 / 5

Which gives us:

$5.64 per mug during the sale.

To work out the price of a mug without the sale, we simply add on the amount that has been taken off (which we know is $1.75 because the question says so):

$5.64 + $1.75 = $7.39

Therefore we can conclude the price of a mug without a sale is $7.39

And the price of a mug during the sale is $5.64.

I hope this helps!
