In △BAH and △CAK

AB = AC   (Given congruent sides of triangle)

m∠BAK = m∠CAH ( Given congruent angles)

AH = AK   (Given congruent sides of triangle)

Therefore, triangle △BAH congruent to triangle △CAK.

△BAH ≅ <u>△CAK </u>by (<u>Side Angle Sngle or SAS triangle congruency postulate</u>).

Therefore, m∠K = m∠H  (Congurent parts of the congruent triangles are congruent).

if angle 1 and angle 2 are vertical angles, angle 2 and angle 3 are complementary angles and the measure of angle 3 is 56 degree
dimulka [17.4K]

Answer:

34º

Step-by-step explanation: so basically you know a complementary angle is 2 angles that make a straight line and a vertical angle crosses which means 2 angles are congruent to each other so I drew a line that bisected the angle by drawing a line that cut through the right angle and i extended a line down from the right angle so now I have a vertical angle and a complementary so from here I labeled each angle <1 <2 <3  If I know angle 3 is 56º then I know 56 plus __ equals 90º I then subtracted 56 from 90 and I got 34 and since I am trying to figure out what angle 1 is I know that angle 1 and 2 are vertical angles therefore I know they are congruent to each other so <1 = 34º

C. -4/3

slope =  \frac{(y _{2} - y _{1}) }{(x _{2} - x _{1} )}  \\  =  \frac{( - 6 - 2)}{(0 -( -  6)}  \\  =  \frac{ - 8}{ 6}  \\  =   - \frac{4}{3}

The monthly output P of a light bulb factory is given by the formula P = 450LK, where L is the amount invested in labor and K th
Tems11 [23]

Answer:

C(p)  = 4,96 (in thousands of dollars)

l = 2980 $  invest in labor

k = 2980 $ invest in equipment

Step-by-step explanation:

Information we have:

Monthly output   P = 450*l*k       ⇒  k = P/450*l

But the production need to be 4000

Then k = 4000/450*l

Cost of production = l * k     (in thousands of dollars)

C(l)  =  l  + 4000/450*l

Taking derivatives (both members of the equation)

C´(l) = 1 - 400 /45*l²          ⇒ C´(l) = 0          ⇒ 1 - 400/45l²  = 0

45*l² -  400  = 0              ⇒  l²  = 400/45

l = 2.98 (in thousands of dollars)

l = 2980 $ And

k = 400/45*l           ⇒  k 400/45*2.98

k = 2.98  (in thousands of dollars)

C(p) = l + k

C(p)  =  2980 + 2980

C(p)  = 5960 $
