We know you need at least 36,480-34,280= 2,200 points to earn a new high score.

When you reach 35,000-34,280= 720 more points to meet the bonus.

After getting 720 dragonflies and the bonus of 1000 points, you have a total of 36,000 points. To beat your high score, you need more than 480 more dragonflies.

You then add up all the dragonflies to get that you need more than 1200 dragonflies.

So, I'm not in college yet, but I assume that the answer might be
x > 1200
Which means that you have to get more than 1200 dragonflies if the number of dragonflies you catch is x,
