Answer: The WWI had many technological advancements which made this war different than the earlier wars. Tanks, flamethrowers, poison gas, tracer bullets, interrupter gear, and others were invented during that time.
The new technology influenced who won the war because they made the war more difficult and eventually they led to a massive slaughter.
The wars also got shorter because more people were getting killed at the same time, for example, machine guns were able to kill a lot of people at the same time. Because of that, WWI is known as the “the war to end all wars”, the death toll was higher than all wars before.
Eventually, after the war was over the technology that was used in the war was imported to other places and were able to help and change the way people lived. Airplanes became stronger and quicker, gas masks were invented, new medical innovations were created such as blood donation.
In the end, the new technology that permeated the world war I in many aspects still influence us until today.
