Cyberbullying: What Do Summary es Research tell us by y Bauman, Sheri
san4es73 [151]

Answer:

One of the best ways that youth can protect themselves against being bullied is through healthy friendships and positive relationships with classmates. A wealth of research indicates that having a healthy peer network protects against being bullied and also helps reduce the negative effects of being bullied, such as feeling depressed and anxious. In addition, having positive peer relationships also can increase the likelihood that peer bystanders will step in to intervene and help stop bullying when it occurs.

Research also indicates that having positive relationships with teachers is associated with a reduced risk of being bullied5 and that hostile teacher-student relationships are associated with higher levels of bullying6. So it is important for youth to seek out and maintain both healthy peer and adult relationships to reduce the likelihood that they will be bullied.

Youth can also reduce their exposure to environments in which bullying frequently occurs such as areas of schools with poor adult supervision or in social media settings where negative and hurtful communication occurs. In those instances where youth are in these environments, they should take extra caution, such as walking between classes with friends or a supportive peer, and protecting their identity online and the information they share electronically.

Write a journal about the following topic in 120 words.<br> A. If I could go back/ahead in time.
skelet666 [1.2K]
If I could go back in time, what would I
change? At my young age, I have made
an awful lot of mistakes. There are things
I wish I had done differently. I do not regret those things because it helped me learn from my mistakes and became a better person I am today. I understand that making mistake is just part of growing up. If I were given a chance to go back in time and done things differently, I would. Three things that I would have done differently are choosing friends wisely, done better in high school, and took
college seriously. believe it is important to choose my friends wisely, especially, during my teenage years. It is important during the
teenage years because people that I hung
out with had a major influence on my
decisions. If I could go back in time, I would improve my grades and GPA. During high school, I guess friends were more important than school to me. I was too caught up with
hanging out with friends that I did not
concentrate like I should in school. I have
always been an honor roll student. But in
high school, as long as I passed with a C,
I was happy. If I could go back in time,
would dedicate more time for studying. I
wish I had joined a sport team or more
clubs during high school to keep myself
busy. Also, if I were given a chance to go
back in time, I would have not skipped
school as much as I did.
