Answer:

Smoking can attack the lungs and you can get lung cancer. You get lung cancer because you become addictive to smoking and you also start to buy more than what you would usually get. You start by only buying one pack, but you become more addictive and you start to buy 6 backs a day and you smoke 3 packs out of those 6 which can really affect your body.

Explanation:

The lungs need to remain elastic so they can effectively move oxygen into the body and carbon dioxide out of the body. By smoking, you are actually introducing carbon monoxide into the body, which is toxic. Tars and other chemicals will settle on the cilia of the lungs and cannot be removed; which further degrades the functionality of the respiratory system. Two conditions that develop when a person smokes are emphysema and bronchitis.
