Answer:

Smoking can attack the lungs and you can get lung cancer. You get lung cancer because you become addictive to smoking and you also start to buy more than what you would usually get. You start by only buying one pack, but you become more addictive and you start to buy 6 backs a day and you smoke 3 packs out of those 6 which can really affect your body.

Explanation:

The lungs need to remain elastic so they can effectively move oxygen into the body and carbon dioxide out of the body. By smoking, you are actually introducing carbon monoxide into the body, which is toxic. Tars and other chemicals will settle on the cilia of the lungs and cannot be removed; which further degrades the functionality of the respiratory system. Two conditions that develop when a person smokes are emphysema and bronchitis.

Answer:

"when?" and "how?";

"who?" and "why?"

Explanation:

In simple words, science refers to the study of conclusions that are made by expert individuals in their respective field by conducting experiments taking into consideration certain assumptions. Thus, science gives the reason how something works with some hard core proof.

On the other hand, religion can be defined as the study of beliefs, that came into existence from cultural and tradition norms. Religion highly affects the personality of an individual and shape its beliefs about the world. It offers answers which cannot be scientifically proven but are important to answer for a healthy and civilized society.

From the sociological perspective, wearing soiled clothing might be viewed as violating a Select one: a. law. b. more c. folkway
melisa1 [442]

Answer:

c. folkway

Explanation:

In sociology, the term folkway refers to the conventions we have in our daily life. In other words, it refers to the conventions a culture has of what's appropriate or not in society and this provides a "traditional" way of behavior.

In this example, we are asked how wearing soiled clothing might be viewed from a sociological perspective. We can see that wearing soiled clothing is viewed as something not appropriate in our society and doing this can be viewed as going against a social convention ("you need to wear clean clothes in public").

Therefore, from the sociological perspective, wearing soiled clothing might be viewed as violating a c. folkway.
