A 3 column table with 5 rows. Column 1 is labeled State with entries Florida, Michigan, New York, California, Texas. Column 2 is
topjm [15]

The conclusion that the data in the table support is that voters are more likely to participate in a presidential election than in a primary.

Since the column sets the following values:

  • Florida --- Republican primary 12.8% --- General election 63.5%.
  • Michigan --- Republican primary 16.5% --- General election 64.7%.
  • New York --- Republican primary 1.4% --- General election 53.1%.
  • California --- Republican primary 22.9% --- General election 55.2%.
  • Texas --- Republican primary 12.8% --- General election 49.7%.

The conclusion that the data in the table support is that voters are more likely to participate in a presidential election than in a primary. This is so, because as can be seen, the average turnout in the Republican primaries is 13.28%, while the average turnout in the general elections is 57.24%.
