Mathematics

Ok, so first you want to put x/6 off to the side. The since 2 is your first number you do the opposite and subtract 2 from the other 2. What you did to the 2 you to the 8 which means you subtract 2 from 8 and your answer is 6. Then you put your focus back to the x/6. So ignore the x. Because x/6 means divide you do the opposite of division which is multiply. so multiply 6x6, BUT the answer to 6x6 is 0. then multiply 8x6 and bring back the x so your final answer is x=48

The statement that correctly describes the product, 5.15 x 6√7, which is 81.7537155..., is A. irrational.

What is an irrational product?

An irrational number is one that can be written as a decimal, but not as a fraction.

An irrational number has endless non-repeating digits to the right of the decimal point.

The rules for determining if a product is rational or irrational are as follows:

 1. The product of two rational numbers is rational.
 2. The product of a rational number and an irrational number is irrational.
 3. The product of two irrational numbers is irrational.

Data and Calculations:

5.15 x 6√7

= 5.15 x 6 x 2.64575...
