Dystrophy is referred to as a disorder in which the a tissue or an orgasm progressively wastes away. Thé dystrophy term is used because the disease involves the gradual and progressive wasting away of the muscle which is a type of tissue causing muscular weakness allowing the child to experience these symptoms.

What are the two types of modern wind turbines?
vodomira [7]
There are two types of modern wind turbines. In a Verical-axis wind turbines (VAWTs), the shaft is mounted on a vertical axis perpendicular to the ground. They are aligned with the wind so there’s no adjustment necessary when the wind direction changes. It can’t start moving on itself that is why it needs a boost from its electrical system to get started. It uses wires for support so the rotor elevation is lower. They are less efficient than HAWTs due to its lower elevation. Lower elevation means slower wind due to ground interferences. The other type is Horizontal-axis wind turbines (HAWTs), the shaft s mounted horizontally parallel to the ground. It is constantly aligned with the wind using a yaw-adjustment mechanism. This mechanism moves the entire rotor left or right in small increments. It uses a tower to lift the turbine components to an optimum elevation for wind speed and take up very little ground space. It is much more efficient than VAWT.

Define nitrogen fixation, what are organisms are capable of nitrogen fixation? Why do farmers rotate their crops with legumes?
Goryan [66]

Answer:

Explanation:

Nitrogen fixation is a process of fixation of atmospheric nitrogen into forms of nitrogen that can be directly utilized by the plants like nitrates and nitrites. This process is conducted by the soil bacteria.

The farmers rotate the crops with legumes because the roots of legumes shows symbiotic mutualistic association with nitrogen fixing soil bacteria. The soil get rich with the nitrogen element necessary for growth of plants.
