How is the relationship between a leader and a citizen like the relationship between a parent and a child? How is it different?

A leader kind of "parents" their citizens, with passing laws and enforcing them to make sure they are followed. And we have police officers and judges etc. to make sure the laws are followed, kind of like our parents make sure we follow the household rules. For a percentage of the population, the government/leader may also provide food assistance or government assistance, kind of like our parents give us money for food and help us survive. Obviously, the difference is that parents don't have millions of kids to raise/parent so it can be much easier to focus on 1 or 2 kids than a whole nation of people, and the president or leader of our nation didn't birth us. Lol. But, I hope this helps! :)

What does yablo think is the best monist objection to make to against pluralism?
lesantik [10]

Pablo thinks that the best monist objection to make against pluralism is that it provides the simplest sufficient ontology.

Monist is the view that there is only a single material object in existence. Monism is the metaphysical and theological view that all is one, and that there are no fundamental divisions, and a unified set of laws underlie all of nature.

On the other hand, Pluralism is a political philosophy, which is seen to permit the peaceful coexistence of different interests and lifestyles.

Monism is the doctrine that the answer to one or other of these questions is only one. Opposed to monism is the doctrine of pluralism, which says that there are many kinds of things.

Hence, the answer was given and explained above.

nikdorinn [45]

Answer:

 • The second wave feminism had the idea that women should find their identity and happiness through their family, husbands and children.
 • They were more focused in women’s equality and identity. But the third wave feminism contradicts the thoughts, they are more concerned about the different factors like class, religion, gender and ethnicity which plays a vital role in feminism.
 • The third wave feminism examines the cause in accordance to the women’s lives on universal basis.
 • These both have conflicts because, third wave existed to solve the failures in second wave.
