Answer:

He disagree with the revolutions plans, not so much the revolution itself.

Because, he argued not the substitution as such but its programs: the French revolution needed to abolish the past of France and found a new, complex system, they make it work in actuality (and Burke said that it would not work). On the other hand, the American rebellion did not murder the British legacy: the different individual rights, the common law etc. For him, the uprising was supported by the very laws of British law.

Bumek [7]
The Hoover quote shows that his approach to the Great Depression is one of no hope. Hoover tried to implement a couple federal works projects (like the Hoover Dam) to kick start the economy. This limited government role is thanks to Hoover's belief in laissez faire economics, which revolves around the idea that government should be involved as little as possible in the economy. With this in mind, it is easy to understand why Hoover does not give direct financial assistance to American citizens.

FDR, on the other hand, believed that the government should help in times of crisis. FDR uses this concept and develops the "New Deal." This "New Deal" is a policy in which the federal government creates several different agencies and programs to help American citizens recover from the Great Depression. This "can do"attitude reflects his determination and ties into the aforementioned quote.

Bush says many countries have a stake in the Persian Gulf region. Why might this be the case?
storchak [24]

C: The world depends on oil produced by Gulf countries, such as Kuwait

The Persian Gulf is a region that is very important to the world, and the reason for this is that there is lot of oil and natural gas reserves in this region. These are actually the only two things that the Persian Gulf can offer to the world, but nonetheless, they are crucial for every country's economy in the world, so there is a heavy dependence on this small region. The enormous reserves of oil and natural gas are also the main reason behind the constant conflicts in this region, but also the main reason why lot of effort is put to control and stop this conflicts.
