Answer: you don’t have to rhyme, remember that. Prose is just as valid as rhyming poetry. I always write what I’m trying to convey and THEN use synonyms to make it rhyme if it needs to.

in writing, sound device refer to the rhyme / pronunciation used while imagery refer to description of visual images. example of sound device :The Girl Goes to the Gym. Example of imagery  : The food tasted like as if i put a fire in my mouth.
