The spectra depend on what electrons are doing so should be the same for chemical families, but some elements further down the periodic table are a bit more complicated e.g. gold

Answer:

D) all different specific to each

Explanation:

The spectra associated with elements (or atoms) are referred as atomic spectra which arise due to the transition of electrons within the atom from one energy level to the other. These energy levels are specific or characteristic of that particular atom. As a result, the spectra for different elements are different.

For example, although sodium (Na) and potassium (K) belong to the same group in the periodic table i.e. alkali metals, the atomic spectrum of Na falls in a different wavelength region relative to K.

Which statement best explains why cells separate and expel waste?
STatiana [176]

Answer:

  1. I would say the 2nd one It helps growth and repair of cells of orgasms
  2. But your school would probably say the 3rd one It helps remove toxins from the body to maintain homeostasis

Explanation:

2. Our cells produce a lot of waste that must be eliminated (excreted) from the body. These residues are called excreta. The residues formed from the chemical reactions that take place inside the cells can be eliminated through:

• of the respiratory system (carbon dioxide)

• skin (sweat)

urinary system (urine)

Our cells expel these substances to maintain the dynamic balance (homeostasis) of our body and promote our well-being.
