The distance of Kalei from the coconut Tree = 10 feet

Angle of elevation of kalei up to the coconut on tree = 30°

From figure it is mention that

Total height of Tree = 6 ft + H

So, Tan 30° = \frac{perpendicular}{base}

     Tan 30° = \frac{H}{10}

    ∴ H         = 10 Tan 30° = 10 × 0.577         Note : tan 30° = 0.577

i.e    H         = 5.77 ft

Hence the total height of coconut tree = 6 + 5.77 = 11.77 ft   Answer
