Answer:

 Number pencils Ava bought = 2

Explanation:

 Price of pen = 2 $

 Price of pencil = 1 $

 Total money spent = 12 $

 Let the number of pen be a and number of pencil be b.

  2 a + b = 12   -----------------------------------Equation 1

 We have, she bought 3 more pens than pencils

   a - b = 3   --------------------------------------  Equation 2

  Equation 1 +Equation 2,

           2 a + b +  a - b = 12 + 3

                 3a = 15

                   a = 5

   Substituting in  equation 2

                 5 - b = 3

                b = 2

    Number pencils Ava bought = 2

Someone please please help me with this math problem I’m really bad at graphs
nataly862011 [7]

Answer:

y + 2 =  - (x - 4)

Step-by-step explanation:

The graph passes through: (0,2) and (2,0)

The slope is

\frac{0 - 2}{2 - 0}  =  - 1

The equation of the line in point-slope form is given by:

y-y_1=m(x-x_1)

The graph passes through (4,-2).

We substitute the slope and this point to get:

y -  - 2 =  - 1(x - 4)

y + 2 =  - (x - 4)

The first option is correct
