4x + 3y =   6  ⇒ -24x - 18y = -36
-6x - 2y = -24 ⇒ -24x -   8y = -96
                                     -10y = 60
                                      -10    -10
                                           y = -6
                              4x + 3(-6) = 6
                                  4x - 18 = 6
                                      + 18 + 18
                                         4x = 24
                                          4      4
                                            x = 6

Change x with 6 and y with -6

4x+3y=6
4*6+3*(-3)=24-18=6

-6x-2y=-24
-6*6-2*(-6)=-36+12=-24

answer is yes

How many times greater is the digit in the tenths place than in the hundredths place?
zhannawk [14.2K]
That depends on what the digits are. It could be anywhere between zero times and infinite times. If both are the same digit and not zero, then the tenth is ten times the size of the hundredth.

Determine the zeros of f(x)=x^3+7x^2+10x-6
igor_vitrenko [27]
Hello,
x^3+7x^2+10x-6=x^3+3x^2+4x^2+12x-2x-6
=x²(x+3)+4x(x+3)-2(x+3)
=(x+3)(x²+4x-2)
=(x+3)(x+2-√7)(x+2+√7)

zeroes={-3,-2+√7,-2-√7}
