Hi! i’m going to assume that the 2 next to the x is an exponent, so forgive me if i answer incorrectly. after plugging in x for -6 your equation should be 4(-6^2+3)-2y (the ^ indicates a exponent)

multiply the exponents and get:

4(36+3)-2y

add the parentheses:

4(39)-2y

multiply by 4:

156-2y

and divide by -2 (to isolate the y)

y=-78

this might be wrong, but i hope it helps :)

A baker sells cookies for $1.50 each. If a minimum of two dozen cookies is ordered, the baker gives a 40% discount for each cook
kenny6666 [7]
I don't see the expression below.
Since the 40% discount applies to the number of cookies sold above 2 dozen, or 24, then if the number of cookies is c, then c - 24 is the number of cookies above 2 dozen. Answer is B.

Find the area of the rhombus.<br> 4.32 m2<br> 2.16 m2<br> 1.08 m2<br> 1.05 m2
S_A_V [24]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Alright, lets get started.

The part of the diagonals are given as 0.9 m and 1.2 m.

The diagonals of rhombus intersect each other.

Hence the length of diagonals will be : 0.9*2=1.8 and 1.2*2=2.4

The formula of area of rhombus is : \frac{pq}{2} where p and q are the length of diagonals.

So plugging the values of diagonals in formula, the area will be :

Area = \frac{1.8*2.4}{2}

Area = \frac{4.32}{2}

Area = 2.16 \ m^2   ................. Answer

Hope it will help :)
